The Mantis Dress | Final Term Garment for the Fashion Institute of Technology, Fashion Design AAS program.

100% silk crepe back satin, 100% silk crepe de chine, 100% silk iridescent chiffon, 100% silk georgette.

Bias cut dolman sleeve with a slight cowl v-neck drape at center back. Stylized half peplum at waist in back, full length trumpet shaped skirt, 3” horsehair hem, with invisible zipper underarm at left side seam.

Inspired by the Devil’s Flower Mantis (idolomantis diabolica).

Matching fascinator cocktail headpiece and self fabric silk neck scarf.
